The Playpen

Not long ago, and unbeknownst to me at the time, KG built a little impromptu playpen for Henry in the livingroom. She put some blankets down on the wood floor, surrounded him with pillows and furniture, and gave him a box of toys to play with. He loved it - and so did I. I can now get work done in the livingroom while maintaining contact with him (something KG had figured out when she came up with the idea).

Thanks, KG!

"Mama"

He's been saying it all day, repeating it over and over. He doesn't know what it means yet, but he does look proud when it comes out of his mouth. Wow.

I'm Busy

Hey world...

If you're wondering what's up with me these days, I've got an all purpose answer: I'm totally, mind-numbingly busy. Just as a baseline, when KG went back to work, the norm became the following - taking care of the baby full time, working more or less full time, and generally trying to keep my theatre career from totally dying on the vine. Meanwhile, I've got my marriage to maintain. But recently I've added to the mix the co-production and co-authorship of a new play. If I seem distracted, inattentive, careless, etc., I apologize. I hope it doesn't cause any offense.

It'll ease up soon, at any rate. The show opens on the 27th.

Bath Time!

Jonathan's Birthday

My brother-in-law had a birthday celebration a few weeks ago at my mother's house.  I was out of town auditioning for a Shakespeare gig, but KG's mother-in-law was visiting and KG took some photos. Apparently, HG was the belle of the ball.

Catching up, here.  I'm still producing that play, so no text, but I'll post some pictures over the next few entries.  This one is from when KG's dad visited a while back:

Henry Takes A Nap

Long time no blog.  Sorry about that.  I'm producing a play and have had zero free time.

To make up for it, below is a HG-themed movie KG had to make for a technology class she's taking.  Enjoy!
